Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the House of Joy. We're so happy to be here. Hi, Emily May. We're sitting here and it's almost Christmas. I know. It's like literally a week or more, a little more before Christmas. A little more, but not, no. But it feels very Christmasy. It is a week from Christmas Eve today as we record wow um this is actually coming out

tomorrow so we have our gorgeous Christmas wreath here beside us it will be a week from Christmas

when this comes out nice um I feel like this time of year is house of joy is like this is our

best time of year this is our vibe this is exactly what we're made for i do now i often

used to say that this house was a summer house it's also a christmas house it's a christmas house

to me and a summer i mean it's all of the above but like i'm really sad this year because i will

not be i know you won not be here for Christmas.

And I was texting mom and she was like, or maybe you were on the phone.

I can't remember before I came because basically this also served as my little Christmas

at home.

Yes.

But she's like, you're going to miss us watching little women.

I know.

And rapping.

I was like,

okay.

She told me last night, she goes, I mean, I understand I get it. That's great, you know, that she's going to spend time with the other family. But also, I hate it. Literally. I wish I could be two places at once.

I've just Christmas time here and it's just something special.

But anyway, this time of year is so special and it's so fun because it's almost a new year.
