0:09.2	and today I'm talking with Ian Johnson, the head engineer of Full Stack at Biz Scout.

0:16.5	So, Ian, like, Bizcout, you're a startup. You're working in the startup space, but your history's not in the startup world here.
0:24.5	Can you tell us a little bit about Biscout, what you're doing now and, and, well, anything you want to share.
0:29.9	I'll just open the floor up to you.

0:31.9	Yeah, I think we could probably work backwards.
0:33.6	So much like other technology trends, things sometimes become full circle. And my
0:39.9	career has kind of done that as well. So I've worked in enterprise development. I've worked in
0:44.4	FinTech. I've worked in nonprofit. But it started in a smaller sort of implementation background
0:50.1	with my own company. So right now what I'm doing is I'm working with Node.js and a small
0:55.6	team of developers and we're using Node NextJS and a couple of other technologies to quickly
1:00.7	deliver software for an aggregator, which is basically something like what you would see in
1:06.6	Biz Buy Sell or online marketplaces that have businesses for sale. So the goal of our platform
1:12.9	is to sort of put buyers in touch with sellers and then also have brokers in the mix somewhere
1:19.0	so that they can make their buck off of whatever it might be. And so the founder is really
1:24.7	prominent on social media. And so she's done a lot of things that bring people together to allow them to buy businesses.
1:30.9	And so her goal is to make sure that people that, you know, the people that you wouldn't
1:34.7	normally think what a lot of business are capable of buying businesses.
1:38.1	So that's the goal of the platform.
