Oh my gosh, that is the longest hiatus that I've ever taken for Surf Splendor.

Our last episode was published six weeks ago on October 7th with Sean Doherty.

And yet, despite all of that downtime, I've actually been busier than ever.

But all of my time has been devoted towards administrative work and archival work, stuff that I am not

particularly good at.

And the time really has come for a solution.

This workload that I am doing is not sustainable.

All that I really want to do is interview interesting people and publish those shows weekly. But all of these other things

is preventing me from doing the best job that I can with that. But I think that I have found a solution.

Today we are launching an official subscription platform on surf splendorpodcast.com where you can access our entire archive of shows ad free for

$5 a month. You'll also get discounts on merch, which will land in the next couple of weeks,

hopefully just before Christmas. You will be entered to win surfboards, fins, and other product

giveaways.

But most importantly, you'll allow us to delegate some of our more tedious and time-consuming tasks out to professionals.

So the accounting, the graphic design, the editing, all of your support will allow us to

produce more shows, bring on more contributors, and begin to produce video pieces in 2021.

during events like Chaz and I did last year

for the finals day at France.

We'd like to do video contest recaps

with the likes of people like Maurice Cole or other past guests

that you have asked for more of. I'd love to be able to do comprehensive surfboard reviews
