Well, today I wanted to share a problem solving process that I learned about from the famous value investor Charlie Munger.

Now, that name might sound familiar. He worked at Berkshire Hathaway for most of his career with Warren Buffett. He was like Warren Buffett's right-hand man. And he passed away in

2023 and it made a lot of news. And they just did the first annual meeting without him.

And I heard it was emotional and there was some, obviously some tributes and memories of Charlie

Munger.

And Charlie has lots of ideas, lots of writings, lots of things out there that you can go

down the rabbit hole with.

I just ordered a large book that has a lot of his

wisdom and thoughts, and I'm going to start plowing through it. But one idea that he shares

over and over as a process for thinking and problem solving, he talks about this challenge he had early in his career. He was a

meteorologist in World War II, and he needed to draw weather maps and predict the weather for

pilots. And so he was coming up with these maps for pilots and clearing their flights.
