12-year-old Tia Rigg was known as a bubbly, fun and happy girl

who was crazy about Manchester United

Football Club. On this spring day, she agreed to go over to her uncle's house to babysit for him

and watch her beloved soccer team on his television. That would be the last thing Tia would ever do.

This is a tragic and horrific story of how a young girl was drugged,

tortured, raped and eventually murdered by her own uncle, before he would then call the emergency

services himself to confess Tiki's crimes. This is Tia's story.

Yes, what's actually happened is that on Saturday and 3rd of April this year,

the police received a 999-cote to attend eight down main clothes at Sheetton Hill.

That telephone call had been made by an individual called John Maiden.
