In the early morning hours of June 4th, 2022, Rachel Hanson, a 19-year-old beloved daughter, fiance and friend, called 911 to report that an unknown person had come into her apartment and shot her while she was sleeping.

First responders rushed Rachel to the hospital where she tragically passed away from a single

gunshot wound.

Investigators haven't identified a motive or a suspect, leaving Rachel's family desperate for answers.

Okay, so Rachel Hanson, I'm not going to spend too much time on this opening

because this case is an absolute headscratcher. As I mentioned in the trailer, this case occurred in

2022. Not long ago. A lot of technology, a lot of science available, and yet here we are.

Someone broke into her apartment, she was shot dead, she was able to call in her own

incident, and yet we still don't know who's responsible.

I've looked at this case, I've read some of the paperwork and the articles surrounding

it, although there's not a ton out there

because it's still relatively new.
