0:35.6 | The challenge is it's hard to come up with those |
0:37.8 | ideas. So keep us posted like on the things you want to hear. But this one came up because |
0:43.2 | you have a bunch of travel coming up and traveling is something that comes up a lot when it comes |
0:48.9 | with work. Like how do you manage travel? How do you stay healthy? How do you stay productive? |

1:01.7 | Dave has had the unfortunate experience of actually sharing an Airbnb with me. |
1:07.0 | It was a big, it was a nice swanky, Airbnb. |
1:09.1 | It was great. |
1:10.0 | But I mean, you can tell that you are a man of travel routines, and this is why I wanted to have this because, you know, I told you I would be somewhere at 10, and at 9.58 and I wasn't there, you text me, where are you at? And I said, it's not 10 yet. I'm going to be there. Oh, we show up early. I also traveled with like three bags, two big suitcases. JV. JV. That I got clowned on for. All right. Okay. So yeah, talk about travel. When did you like, when did you start traveling a lot for work? Long time now. You know, I'd say the last, I don't know, my whole career pretty much. So I've been traveling a bit. I'd i'd say the last i don't know my whole career pretty much so i've been |
1:46.2 | traveling a bit i'd say really in the last 10 years i have a bunch of traveling coming up i'm |
1:50.6 | going to be speaking at sask stock in uh Dublin ireland next week then uh mine the product in |
1:57.5 | london the week after that then i have uh Minnesota i'm going to at the Converted Conference. And then I'm going to be doing some speaking in Portugal in November. And you really are global. We are taking this drift thing global. It's not a joke. It's not a joke. We're building a global brand. Starting in Dublin next week. That's it. I love it. We're not building a Boston company. we're building a global brand. I love it. Anyway, so I've been traveling for a while, and I am a man of routine, right? And I love routine. And especially when it comes to traveling, because I actually don't like traveling that much. I'm not one of those people that have wonder loss that like to travel a lot. you know, my, you know, my dream is just to stay home, right? Yeah, hanging out and then kayak in your backyard or something. That's it. And so, you know, when you had to get out of that comfort zone, you have to travel. Yeah. So I put like many other things. I like public speaking. I don't like public speaking either. So like, but I've pushed myself out of my |
2:51.3 | comfort zone. And so when it comes to traveling, one of the things that I learned kind of along the |
2:56.1 | way was how to travel light, right, and how to be efficient about what you bring with you. And I think, |
3:02.5 | you know, back in the day, I was JV like Dave is currently. It's true. It's true. And I used to pack. I used to overpack, which is I think that most people do. So overpack, overpack, overpack, bring lots of stuff. And then I noticed, you know, just reps and sets. You'd notice, like, I don't use most of the stuff. What am I bringing? And all this stuff for. |
3:27.6 | And then, you know, it hit me like, wait a second. |
