So we're going to be talking about, obviously you see the title. It's about death and disaster and what our response is supposed to be to this.

What to do when we're questioning the goodness of God in and through it all. And Nick and I have both questioned this

in our lives too, and we've recently gone through some things that have made us ask these

very questions ourselves. And so we wanted to do a podcast about this that just leads us

into a deeper discussion.

Today, Chelsea and I are going to talk about a topic that's not crazy, crazy fun,

but I think that we both know that it needs to be addressed and confronted head on.

I know that some of you guys have had questions about this and about all the nuances that surround it,

but lately we actually have gone through, I don't know, not really a season, but just a few days of unrest and of grief really and we just thought that we would share

with you guys what's fresh on our hearts and minds and maybe this is fresh on your heart

and mind as well with something that you're going through. I don't know. I just hope that this

podcast will provide some insight and some encouragement and some hope in some kind of way.

Today, like you probably already know, we want to talk about this concept of grief and

like how is God good when it seems like all this bad stuff is happening and going on.
