Hello and welcome to the podcast. I'm kind of excited for this one. It's going to be a little bit different, but I'm turning 34 next week. And I wanted to share with you 34 things to do with habit

change and weight loss that have been impactful to me up into this point. There's going to be

some that are a bit more fun and there's going to be some that are a little bit more serious.

But let's get into this and just make it a bit of a fun episode.

Number one, the first thing is that delay gratification is better than denial.

A lot of the time, and this is definitely the case for me before or I lost 40 pounds when I was

really, really struggling to stay consistent is all the diets I would do, I would be constantly thinking that

it was like the last time that I was going to binge. It was going to be the last diet that I ever did

and that I was never ever going to have like my favorite curries again. I was never going to go out

and eat pizza. I was going to be like perfect from then on now. And what ended up happening is that

because I was like, well, I felt too denied in those instances that I would go and then when I would

get to kind of like the breaking point, I would go and have a binge or I would go and get my favorite
