The newspapers in nearly every nation on earth are running headlines proclaiming the disappearance

of a certain woman.

Armies of detectives and policemen have searched in vain and even the famed creator of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle, has secured one of her gloves, taking it to a spirit medium with hopes of locating the vanished lady.

The only thing found up to this moment is an abandoned car, parked not far from her home,

and a coat belonging to her, found lying on the ground nearby, her identification cards

and a few other items scattered about it.
