I believe one of the best ways to share our Catholic faith of our Protestant brothers

and sisters is to become the best defenders of the fundamental truths that our Protestant

brothers and sisters uphold.

So what do I mean by that?

Well welcome to the Council of Trend Podcast, I'm your host, Catholic Answers Apologist and

Speaker, Trent Horn.

And when we talk about Catholic and Protestant relations, we often focus on what divides

us, and that's important.

These are important divisions we need to talk about.

But sometimes we overlook what unites us that's even more fundamental, the existence of

God, the Trinity, the divinity of Christ, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and our need

to defend these core truths to an increasingly skeptical and atheistic world.

So oftentimes I find myself having common cause with many Protestants who I wouldn't

call them Protestant Apologists because what they are out defending is mere Christianity.

They're going out into a secular world and defending the existence of God, the divinity

of Christ.

And I'm super eager to help them do that.

And I love doing that.

I love going out and defending these truths, being part of these debates.

And I'm always so heartened to see when Protestants read my books or check out my debates

on these subjects and say, you know, for a Catholic, you actually have a lot of good material
