We're going to get into that on this podcast.

We will discuss the war on Christmas, because as you know, Christmas is always

under attack this time of year. And I want to get right to my guest because I have someone who,

let me see, is the word, no, the word isn't celebrity. The word is icon. This woman is an icon

here in Los Angeles. She has been covering Los Angeles in print and radio for, I don't know how long, I believe it's 41 years is what I read. I just, I will just tell you this award winning radio show. She is the one who introduced me to radio back when we had a show called Comedy Congress,

where we would get together every week and make fun of politicians.

What could be more fun than that?

And she has become an L.A. historian, maybe the L.A. historian.

There's been a series of articles in the L.A. Times, and I am learning

the history of L.A. most recently about our department stores. And look it up, kids. We used to have

department stores. That's how we used to buy stuff. I could go on and on, but I'm just going to get

into the introduction and the lady wears hats. Can I mention the hats because she is known for the hats?
