Now, let's do it. All right. The mainstream definition for transhumanism calls it a philosophical movement, the proponents of which advocate and

predict the enhancement of the human condition by developing and making widely

available sophisticated technologies able to greatly enhance longevity, mood, and cognitive abilities.

Transhumanist thinkers study the potential benefits and dangers of emerging technologies that could overcome fundamental human limitations as well as the ethics of using such technologies.

Some transhumanists believe that human beings may eventually be able to transform themselves

into beings with abilities so greatly expanded from the current condition

as to merit the label of post-human beings.

Another topic of transhumanist research is how to protect humanity against

existential risks such as nuclear war or asteroid collision.

So we need to protect ourselves from two things that do not exist as described as you

end there but the idea of post-human beings I mean if I want to be spiritual

about what I'm about to say. Isn't that the idea that every spiritual

tradition is written about, calling it heaven or nirvana, isn't that actual
