development for parent educators. I'm so glad to see you, Melissa, and to think about education

today. I was reading a substack this week that was really taking homeschooling to task. And it focused a lot on the failure of parents

to give practical skills combined with academic skills. And then today, you brought up this need

to talk about life skills. So I'm very excited for us to address what some people think is

either an overemphas emphasis or a lack of emphasis

depending on what kind of parents you have. I think that's so funny that you just encountered it.

I keep seeing videos by teachers who are expressing some frustration, like classroom teachers,

where kids are showing up without some of the basic school readiness skills that

used to be standard.

And I think it's just an expression of how overtaxed a lot of people are right now, right?

That's true.

And we've had kind of a conversion and overhaul from the tactile paper-centered living to everything being digital.
