Dennis Brennan, you were an author.

You wrote the book, D.C. Swamp Strikes Back, Aaron Burr, Donald Trump, and there's similar battles. This is going to be a fun one because I'm, I just actually, um, finished reading the book, Revolutionary Characters by Gordon Wood. And there's a whole section about how everybody came after Aaron Burr, so we'll get into that.

But first, let's get to you. Where did you grow up?

Grew up in a small suburb right outside of Chicago. Still live in Illinois in a different

suburb, but that's never really left illinois unfortunately well yeah i mean

it's uh i guess it depends on what you're into you know um i'm not into to to whatever's going on

there but some people might be um so uh grew up in in the chicago, I guess you could say. Are you a Cubs fan or White Sox? White Sox fan, South Side. Yeah, that's true. South suburb. I had a buddy that grew up in the South suburbs. He's still, the poor White Sox, there's never any like middling year for them.

They're either good or they're just the worst team in baseball.

What's going on with that?

Right.

Well, you have to spend a little money.

I think that's good.

You know, you have to start there.

I think they've tried to be bad in some of these years with this idea that she'll rebuild, but that didn't work last time.

So I'm not a big fan of that idea, because as you get older, you realize there's only so many seasons left.

Sure.
