Welcome back to Missing. I am Tim here today with Lance Lance. How are you today?

0:40.0

Doing great today Tim. I'm really excited to listen to this episode because I wasn't on

0:45.0

it. And you were texted after you were done and you said that this was an incredible conversation

0:50.6

with an incredible person. So I'm excited to hear it, but I'm also excited to hear how

0:54.5

you're doing today. Thank you. I am doing great today. Excited to bring this episode

0:59.9

with this conversation to our airwaves. Yeah, it was just me and Terry. Terry is Devonte

1:06.6

Van Morgan's mom. And we had double booked ourselves. So we split up our interviews. So

1:12.6

that's why it was just me in this one. And it was a fascinating conversation Lance about

1:19.0

a guy who seems like like a great guy. Devonte Morgan went missing on May 5, 2020 from Mount

1:27.7

Shasta, California. He was born in 1992 in San Francisco, 51165 pounds. He's an African-American

1:37.1

man who was 28 years old when he went missing. His mom speaks glowingly of him. Says

1:42.4

he's got a lot of friends. His nickname is Vonte and that's V-O-H-N-T-E. The circumstances

1:48.3

of his disappearance is kind of crazy. Honestly, he lives in San Francisco, but he went missing

1:55.0

hundreds of miles away. And there's some confusing travel involved in the story. And a lot

2:03.1

of the conversation is really kind of trying to pin down a timeline as best as I could

2:10.2

from Terry and about this case. And it seems confusing. It seems like there could be people

2:15.8

lying. It seems like there are definitely people not being fully open about what happened

2:22.0

to Devonte. Well, again, I'm really looking forward to listening to this. And if anybody

2:27.4

has any information, the contact would be the Mount Shasta Police Department. That's

2:33.0

correct. Yes. And the number for them is 5309267540. And again, yeah, really looking

2:43.0

forward to this. Yeah, my heart goes out to Terry, who is dealing with Devonte's disappearance

2:48.6

and isn't getting much help from the Mount Shasta Police Department as well. So it would
