This is part four of a series sharing the Organize 365® Story. This week, I want to share how you rename the spaces in your home to make them more functional as part of your transformational journey to an organized life. I define and explain things like a hot mess room and a drink station. I share how the names you give different spaces in your home can dramatically affect how you think about them. This podcast and our new glossary will help the Organize 365® community to have a shared vocabulary and foundational language.

No matter when you begin your transformational journey (or when you need to reset or restart), this information will be here as a reference for you. Listen in as I teach you about different ways I organize homes to make them functional.

0:06.0	The reason that you are listening to an organization podcast in the beginning of the new year is because you are ready to get organized.
0:15.0	And 87% of Americans believe organization is a learnable skill.
0:20.0	Yet only 13 to 18% of those same Americans feel like they're organized in any category.
0:26.0	And here's why.
0:28.0	Organization is so much more than just a decluttering binge or living a minimalist life.
0:34.0	It's actually a skill you learn like learning a foreign language.
0:38.0	I have been spending the last 11 years really diving into how do we get organized?
0:44.0	Where do we get stuck?
0:46.0	What are the skills everyone needs to learn and what are skills that only certain people need in certain phases of life?
0:52.0	Over all of this time, I've created my own glossary.
0:58.0	Like I had to redefine words and create scenarios that would make you think about your house differently so you could see organization in a different light.
1:09.0	And you'd be able to take action and actually learn the skill of organizing.
1:13.0	So that's what we're going to do here in January.
1:17.0	The first half of the month are podcasts that I've recorded before this year that I'm going to re-air their glossary episodes 1 through 11.
1:27.0	And then I have five new glossary episodes for you, all the learnings that we gained in the last year.
1:34.0	So this is a very bingeable month.
1:36.0	There will be a lot of podcasts for you to come back and listen to this month and a lot of new learnings.
1:42.0	And don't worry, if you've already heard these podcasts before when they were originally recorded or even if you've listened to them a couple of times,
1:50.0	re-listening to these glossary podcasts are going to number one, let you see how far you've come in learning this whole new skill of organization.
2:00.0	Some of the things I say are now second nature to you. They may actually be in your own vernacular.
2:06.0	And you'll hear things differently. You may be in a different phase of life now or you may not have heard things the first time through when you listen to the podcast.
