supporters. So Rachel Reeves delivered a major speech this week setting out the UK government's

growth plans. She talked about expanding Heathrow, essentially stopping everyone from being able to block developments

on the grounds of protecting noots and bats and things like that, making it harder for activists

to block various developments. Miriam, what did you make of the speech and the sort of direction

this is going in? Well, I think there was a lot in there that most people can support across the political

spectrum.

Some of them are ideas that kind of started or were announced on the Conservative government.

And there's a lot of common sense in there.

You won't find many people thinking that it's a good idea to spend millions of pounds

on bat tunnels or that red tape is good.

So very common sense.

And I think brave in its own way
