| 0:00.0 | What is going on everyone? Welcome to another episode of the fit, healthy, and most of all happy podcast. |
| 0:05.8 | As always, I'm your coach and host Josh here with his co-host and co-coach KG and I'm in the house. Let's get it. Let's go. We're going to have a good one today. We've got some big coffees. We're fired up. We're ready to answer all of your questions. |
| 0:20.6 | You know, share some of our favorite quotes. |
| 0:22.2 | You know, just we have some really fun thoughts. |
| 0:23.8 | We're actually going. We're ready to answer all of your questions. Uh, you know, |
| 0:39.7 | share some of our favorite quotes. You know, just we have some really fun thoughts. We're actually going to give you some interesting stories about like some of the random, uh, I guess, if you will, embarrassing things we used to do when we started our YouTube channel. So this will be a lot of fun. So thank you for tuning in today. Let's get this week started on a good note. And hey, let's start this episode on an even better note with Coach KG's quote. |
| 0:37.7 | So my quote for the week, and I just read it actually this |
| 0:43.1 | morning in my new book, is something along the lines of 80% of success is just showing up by |
| 0:49.8 | Woody Allen. And I thought it was just really cool and really applicable because, you know, |
| 0:53.6 | I've just started reading a recent book called Grit. And they just talk a lot about how effort will, you know, always be talent, right? You know, one of my other favorite quotes is, uh, um, success. What is it? Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. And for me personally, I've just always been such a believer that if we just like put in work and just like stay consistent as I always say, you know, we're going to get a lot further than that person who just is always kind of like super gifted and who just doesn't really care or doesn't try. So this book has like really opened my eyes to a lot of things. I'm only like 50 pages in. but even just working off of that one of our clients Josh he just not not |
| 1:27.2 | coach Josh but a client Josh just posted in the facebook group hey you know i'm not feeling this workout today um you know i'm feeling just it's not i'm not feeling like myself like anyone else feel that sometimes and all of our clients chimed in they're like yep and my response was yeah it happens to all of us it's part of being a human i used to get down to myself or stuff like this in the past then realize it happens occasionally and it's part of the process |
| 1:48.2 | making sure to still push through these ones means way more than the days that you feel great |
| 1:52.9 | so once again going off of that quote just showing up consistently is the first step and the most |
| 1:58.7 | important part is consistently showing up even on those days |
| 2:01.4 | where you don't feel like it and you feel like sleeping in you feel like chilling out so yeah that's |
| 2:05.6 | just been on my mind and that's why I made the quote super applicable and hopefully this helped someone |
| 2:10.0 | today let's get it my boy Woody Allen coming in strong yeah and uh yeah that is showing up is such a |
| 2:16.2 | big thing and just you know making that decision to do it. |
| 2:19.7 | And, you know, just the same, I guess, going to a thought a little bit early. |
| 2:22.8 | But, you know, one of the things I've always known and I've always communicated clients is the power of saying no. you know sometimes you got to show up but sometimes you got to know when not to show up or when to say no |
| 2:32.0 | or you know when to maybe not stop at McDonald's on the way home and deviate from your diet you know just the same |
| 2:37.6 | and but to do those things that will build you up but to be able to say no to those things that will tear you down you know it's just about this balance right it's like walking on a tight rope and we need to just stick to that plan stick to that path and the more we do it's just one's foot after another. It becomes easier and easier. That's absolutely something to keep on the top of your head. And I've been really excited for my quote this week, so I hope it really excites everyone as well. And my quote for this week is the only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be. And that's by Ralph Waldo Emerson. And, you know, this quote just really hit for me because, you know, I think it's so easy to, you know, be so unsure of your destiny, of your future, of whatever it is. But, you know, I really do believe, you know, I'm not, I think manifesting is a little bit dramatic, you know, the concept of manifesting, but I actually |
