Summary

Have you ever thought about what is inside your sunscreen? Do you know the difference between Chemical vs. Mineral Sunscreen? Well, it's time for another Five Minute Friday! In this weeks' episode, I dive right into discussing the newly passed CARES Act and all the new sunscreen rules and regulations! How it will affect businesses, consumers, and the reality behind chemical sunscreens. It is so important to know what we put inside our body, but also on the outside! 90% of our skin aging comes from the sun; therefore, the ingredients in our sunscreens matter. Chemical sunscreens not only damage our health from the topical chemicals but damage the environment as well. We hopefully will see a shift to more mineral sunscreens which are less likely to irritate the skin, give us acne, and are not chalky! Tune in to hear all my thoughts!
