I give a lot of credit to as our late owner, Peter Seidler, who really put his arm around

him, chose the path of comfort and love and, you know, bring together, he's our guy. could have gone the other way easily where we

reprimand we send down and things like that but I feel like Peter set the tone and

how he was going to handle Fernando moving forward and Fernando's shown nothing but love back since he's gotten healthy and he's put some things behind him.

He seems to be on the straight and narrow and seems to be growing into himself and

certainly loves the spotlight.

Certainly doesn't have a problem playing on the road and we're glad he's in our

uniform.

He played 18 seasons in the Major Leagues. He was a seven-time All-Star, a two-time

national league leader in saves, the first player in Major League History, to reach the

500 and 600 saved milestones, and he finished his career with 601 saves, which ranks second

all time.
