Hi guys, I hope you enjoy this mini documentary we did in December.

Once you finish watching, please leave your comments below because we're thinking about doing different documentaries around the world. We'd love to hear your thoughts. Cheers, guys. Hey guys, we're finally here in Dubai, and we're going to be filming for a week. We've done what's going to happen, really looking forward to this. Loads of different guests coming on. Let's find a bit more about Dubai and what's happening and what all the fuss is about

0:20.9

and why so many entrepreneurs are flying here to do on. Let's find a bit more about Dubai and what's happening and what all the fuss is about and why

0:21.6

so many entrepreneurs are flying here to do business. Let's go. I moved here for two reasons. To not pay tax and for the weather. I can see why people are coming here. What does Dubai do really well? That everywhere is a different sort of league over here. There's no street crime. No one's robbing anyone. people are moving to the buy at date. It's no longer making all of its money from oil, but what it is making money from is entrepreneurs. If you've got to think big and make shit happen, this is the place to be. If a country is taxing people, I don't want to see a pothole in the street. Yeah. This is Great Britain, how we remember Great Britain, is not great and it's not a huge decline. The entrepreneur is being pushed down. Nothing's holding you back. You got your own business coming here. Great, great place you can hit the ground running. I think if you come in here and you haven't got a job, 1015K to get yourself secure. After every 30 days, how much you earn? 3,500. 3,200? Yes. You're not getting what you're paying for, so what exactly am I paying tax for?

1:13.6

Cash has gone out of the system.

1:14.6

There's no fun time Frankie money anymore.

1:16.6

The government has just squeezed everything.

1:22.6

So myself and my two producers flew out to Dubai and we wanted to find a bit more information about what's going on out in this country. There's 4 million people live out here, and about 80,000 of them are multi-millionaires. And actually, we're coming out to Dubai to find out what the actual truth is. William Brown is a multi-millionaire. He built an online digital business. He ended up doing over £10 million in turnover and sold out a couple of years ago. Did you move to Dubai on purpose that you wouldn't have to pay tax?

1:46.9

Yes. I moved here for two reasons. To not pay tax and for the weather. Those were the two

1:51.1

reasons that got me here. Two very good reasons. Two very good reasons. The thing is Dubai is a very

1:56.8

heavy, intense, fast place and it's not somewhere where you come to relax. Everybody comes here with a purpose. They want to build. They want to grow. They want to learn. They want to network. So if you want to do those things and build and grow a business or build and grow a network, this is the best place in the entire world to do it by far. There are lots of opportunities out here where people are like, hey, here's a contact, go and meet them or you're going to meet at a certain night. What someone actually do if they flew out here? So there's networking events that you can go to out here, specifically for different types of entrepreneurs. So find one of those, go to one of those. You'd be surprised who you can bump into in like the lobby of these fancy hotels or at beach clubs and

2:34.7

events and stuff. When you look back at your friends in the UK and you chat to them,

2:39.1

what are you noticing between them and you, apart from the financial gain, what you're gaining

2:43.6

out here, but what are you noticing the mindset between your friends back home and your mindset

2:47.2

here? One thing is ambition and drive. Yeah, I've noticed from different places around the world, some places like UK is one,

2:54.6

Bali is another, people are not as ambitious, they're not as driven, they don't want to

2:58.2

go hard and scale and go crazy.

3:00.5

Dubai they do.

3:01.5

Like, no one is relaxing in Dubai.

3:03.4

No one's coming to Dubai to coast and chill.

3:06.8

Everybody that lives and functions in Dubai is on a fucking mission. They want to grow. They want to scale. They want to make money. They want to build wealth. How have you seen Dubai change in the last four years? Things are a lot more expensive now. When I first moved here in May 2021, pretty much everything is doubled. Right. So all real estate is doubled or tripled in that time. Costs of doubled or tripled for everything. It's got mad expensive. Dude, I paid £50 for an omelette and two coffees the other day. It's got a worst reputation, but only with people that haven't been here. Okay. Which is quite interesting. More people hate it now, but all the people that hate it have never fucking been. Yeah, okay. So it's quite interesting. Yeah, that's interesting. I'm seeing that on LinkedIn. So people who are big in up Dubai, me been to Dubai three or four times, I get it. People who haven't been to Dubai might just see, where's Dubai?'t it, an Arab country in the middle of nowhere?

3:57.9

And, okay, it's hot.
