Welcome to the GitFit Guys, quick and dirty tips to slim down and shape up.

My name is Ben Greenfield. I'm the Get Fit Guy. And in this episode, which is part one of a series on a unique new workout style that combines gymnastics and weight training, you're going to learn how to get a strong and shredded

body with a unique combination of strength in cardio and gymnastics. Now, you may know if you

read my article recently on Quick and Dirty Tips.com called How to Get the Body of a Gymnist

that I've been doing a unique mashup of gymnastics and

high intensity interval training to get some strength, some cardio, some bulging biceps and

Now, this makes perfect sense because the sport and practice of gymnastics is really just one giant obstacle course, with the only caveat being that gymnasts have to make it

look really easy and artistic. So he says, I believe using an obstacle course training program

2:06.1

that includes gymnastic strength elements, will prepare you for the rigors of the many types

2:09.9

of obstacles you will encounter during a Spartan race. Now, if you're listening in and you don't

2:14.0

plan on doing a Spartan race or an obstacle race anytime soon, that's fine

2:17.7

because this specific routine that you're going to learn in this episode series is perfect

athletic training and exercise training for everything from a better body to being better at any
