You guys, I was just at the hair's lawn from 9 a.m. to like 2. And oh my God, it was just like just so many rounds of toner and stuff. And my hairdresser feels so bad. And I'm going back tomorrow. It was supposed to be like a warm blonde. This is a little warmer thing.

ironically, I mean, this episode, the entire thing is about Coachella and Lily is going to Coachella and she was doing her Coachella hair. And what are the fucking odds that would be the hair that didn't turn out? You know, I probably shouldn't have picked right before Coachella to like switch it up. Actually, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yeah, no, I'm doing Weekend 2, which originally we wanted to do weekend one, but the tickets for the camping thing were sold out. But then coincidentally, I went on the website and saw that randomly it had tickets again, but it was only weekend too. I'm going with those again. And we were like, absolutely, let's just do it. And now I'm actually thrilled because weekend one looks like a cluster fuck. It was a cluster fuck. And we're here to talk about that cluster fuck. And when I was looking through this dock, I said, wow, this is really a million flavors of a disaster. Like, it was just like everywhere you look, it's like, and literally here is the fire. And then this girl got hit by a light and she's bleeding. And I'm like, what the fuck is going on? Oh my God. And it was super windy. People's like camp overhangs blown away. I saw a tree fell on someone. It depends. Usually there's like one night that's kind of windy and dusty by like, like, it's usually like the last night. I feel like because all the grass has kind of dried up and from all the foot traffic. But I don't think I've ever gone when it's like, maybe once I went that it was super, super windy. But otherwise, it hasn't really been a problem. Yeah, I must admit, I'm not here to yuck anybody's yum and certainly not yours, Lily, of course not. But I will say Coachella looks like a hellscape. You would have to

pay me a million dollars to go, even on the best weekend, the weekend where everything goes perfectly right. But here's the thing. Here's my problem with it. The Coachella I experience, and this will be like my seventh year, I think, maybe six year. I think I counted that, but two of the years I went both weekends. last few years and it's gotten like capitalism to the max and like there's just brands everywhere.

But the people filming and making all the content that we're seeing, because like that's the only

thing that was on my feed for the last few days, like literally the only thing. And when I'm seeing what people are posting, that is not the Coachella I'm experiencing. Like I wouldn't go if it was So what is, okay, let's rewind really quick before we get into the absolute disaster that was Coachella Weekend 1. What back in the day, think of like the best Coachella trip. What was your favorite thing about those trips? What was like, was it the music? Yeah. Well, I mean, I don't, you see all of the quote unquote influencers, which are sometimes like actual huge influencers that are going. Right. And then also people that have like maybe like 50,000 followers that they're like getting some kind of brand deal or begging for some kind of brand deal.

Lots of begging for brand deals this year. Everyone's like, what you don't know is Coachella's really about the after parties and all the other events going on. After parties. Doesn't it end at like three in the morning? The only thing after that is sleep, honey. So there's something called Neon Carnival, and that's like after after, like it's super late.

I have had the wristband to go a few times. Never gone. Too tired. I'm like, absolutely not. I'm going home. What kind of drugs get you to that after? Not the ones I'm taking. Because that's like, that doesn't make any sense in my brain. It's exhausting. In general, though, everyone is very obsessed with like all the brand activations and the parties now. And they're like, that's what Coachella is really about. That's what tells you. I'm like, no, Coachella is about Coachella. You guys are just choosing. Just the music. Like, besides the music, is there anything enjoyable? Obviously, the music is like a main part of it. That's why you're there to listen to the artist.

I mean, honestly, I just like the overall vibe. It's like the food is really good. The weather is always nice. You know, I love a themed event. I like to get dressed up. I have done two weekends, though, two years in a row. And it was just because the first weekend was really fun. But then it was like, oh, but it would be so much fun if I didn't have to worry about filming stuff the whole time and like didn't have to be like on.

they have guest performances, they're like usually surprises and they usually switch those up.
