What is going on? Welcome to the Exodus podcast this week. We have another episode of the White

Tail Pioneer series, and this week's episode is with Barry Wensel. We were lucky enough to catch up

with him at the Great American Outdoors Show. And if you're someone who doesn't know Barry,

you're probably maybe a little bit younger. And Barry and his brother Gene laid the foundation,

once again, you know, being part of the White Tail Pioneer series to what we know today about

White Tails. They lived out in Montana. They observed White Tails and were doing things that

no one was doing at the time. And you

get to hear some of those stories and hear how they communicated with biologists and just a lot

of really funny and interesting things from over the years. And I'll have to tell you this,

Barry came out with the new book, The Old Man and the Tree. I bought it at the Harrisburg Show and I have really enjoyed it.

barry oh my pleasure my pleasure i feel like this semi a long time coming what this has been a

long time coming whether you know it or not i i don't know that. I mean, again, I get pulled in all different directions, and I like going.

I'm more than happy to share, but it's just the schedules.

I mean, the time involved and stuff, but, you know, different shows.

And I don't know if I ever mentioned this.

In 2019, I did 42 of these sports shows in one year.
