And today we are discussing setbacks, setbacks and injuries.

Now, if you're training super hard, if you're pushing yourself to your limit, if you're training with high intensity, you're lifting heavy weights.

Let's just face it, life is long, training is hard, you're going to get injured. Okay, you're going to get injured. And I'm not saying that because I want you to get injured. I'm not saying it because it's a good thing. I'm just saying it's something that you should factor into your training. Now, of course, when we talk about recovery, we talk about fatigue management, we talk about the length of muscles that you're training, certain exercise that are more taxing.

It's going to depend on the individual.

And I'm not saying that you want to train, be like, well, I'm going to get injured.

So let me just train hard, get injured and fuck it.

But what you want to understand is when you're pushing yourself, things are going to happen.

You're not living in a vacuum.

There are a lot of variables.

There are a lot of things that can and unfortunately, sometimes shit's just going to happen.

You're going to roll your ankle off a sidewalk.

You're going to be playing with your dog and your dog's going to run into the side of your knee,

playing with your kids, or you just push yourself a little bit too hard and you hear like a pop or a

snap or a tweak. It just happens. Maybe you move and adjust yourself while you have too much weight on

there and you feel something kind of like nag at you, whatever, tendonitis or meniscus

or something like that. You might get tweaked. When you're pushing yourself, things are going to happen,

even the top athletes in the world. And of course, when you're playing sports like football or

baseball or hockey, there's a lot of chaos. You train. You try to reinforce the joints, prepare yourself,

but someone's going to hit you. Something's going to go, right? You take care of your car and you still have to replace the brakes,
