We talked last week about Naseim Tuleb's book, Anti-Fragual.

I should try and interview him.

I don't know if he would even respond. From what I read in the book it seems like he does the barest of minimum as far as

responding to media requests and I would certainly be lumped into those.

But maybe I ought to try.

It would be fun to have him give us like, hey, what are 10 things I can do in my personal

finances to make my personal finances anti-fragual instead of fragile and have him just list those

force and then I could ask him questions that he probably found fairly stupid but we could

still try.

I wanted to talk today.

I was chatting with a friend, good close friend of

mine, and he was debating whether he and his wife should take some cash out of

investments and they're in investments not meant for retirement.

Like they're not in retirement vehicles, they're just sitting in a mix of stocks and bonds and he just said I wonder if we should pay off the house and

they could with that with that cash we talked about it a little bit and we came to kind of two conclusions.

I just thought I'd leave them here for you to mole over.

One is I very often seek in a lot of times I envision my personal

finances like a net or I'm always weaving and you're finding kind of weak spots or worn spots and

you're weaving in new, you know, new areas you're kind of touching things up.
