| 2:46.0 | But Sally Myers was a civilian. She was under no obligation to go into that church and help the wounded, yet she did. |
| 2:55.0 | And she was far from alone in what she did. There were many women, residents of Gettysburg, who pitched in to help the wounded soldiers who filled the area's churches, homes and barns. |
