interviewed rather than me interviewing someone else. On the 7th of May, Spite and the Jewish Chronicle

held a public event at which I was interviewed about my book after the pogrom 7th of October,

Israel and the Crisis of Civilization. Josh Kaplan of the Jewish Chronicle interviewed me about the themes of my book,

about current events in the Israel-Gaza War, and about what's happening here in the West, too.

7th October, Israel and the Crisis of Civilization. So Brendan, I thought we'd maybe begin by talking to a little bit about how you became a

sort of advocate for Israel, because I think, you know, especially in a Jewish audience,

people kind of look at non-Jewish supporters of the Jewish people and Israel, and they think,

how did you get into it and why are you still

doing it? Yeah, what am I playing at? Yeah, there's not enough of us, that's for sure. The amount

of brainwashed people, I'm sorry to have to say it, and it's understandable because the anti-Israel animus is so

relentless. I mean, it's day in, day out. If you watch the BBC, don't watch the BBC. But if you make

the mistake of watching the BBC, you will see that every single night for the past 18 months, they have given millions of
