0:50.0	guests. The first is Joanna Brooks. Hey Joanna. Hi John. And Brian Johnson. Hey Brian. Hey John.
0:58.3	For those of you who don't know, my name is John. I work with Mormon Stories and many of you will
1:04.9	be coming to this audio program because you've contacted me through email or in some other means
1:10.6	that I've directed you here. Or you'll be referred to it from various websites affiliated with
1:16.0	the Open Stories Foundation or Mormon Stories. But, you know, I'm excited to be here and just
1:22.4	to introduce our two guests. Joanna Brooks is a professor and the chairman of the English
1:28.7	Department at San Diego State University. She's also a board member of the Open Stories Foundation.
1:34.0	She has a website and a Twitter feed and she writes as Ask Mormon Girl. She has a brand new book
1:42.3	coming out. Tell us the title Joanna. It's called The Book of Mormon Girl. Stories from an American
1:47.8	faith. And Joanna is just, she's been around this scene of faith transitions in a Mormon
1:53.9	LDS context for, I don't know, two decades. Is that make you feel old Joanna? Love it. I'm
1:58.7	embracing 40. Brian Johnston is also a member of the Open Stories Foundation. He's been
2:07.5	partner collaborator with me for what, Brian? Seven years? Yes, several years. I'm trying to
2:14.0	remember how far it goes back, but we've worked on a bunch of projects together. Yeah, and Brian's
2:18.5	done a lot of great stuff online. He's specifically done a lot of work in helping people in their early
2:23.8	and their faith crisis, trying to decide if they're going to stay, how they're going to stay,
2:29.3	and if they're not going to stay, how to minimize the damage. He's also done a lot of work with
2:34.3	mixed faith couples, where one member of a couple believes in the other dozen and trying to help
