show.

Today is a special day because I'm sitting in studio with Amy Prentice, my director of

marketing and communications.

You know Amy by now, if you've been listening to this podcast for any amount of time, she

co-hosts this podcast with me from time to time and she's also a huge contributor to

many of the images that appear in our podcast, show notes, and Instagram posts, etc. because

not only is she a great photographer, she's also a great Gardener.

But this time is the first in-person recording that we've ever done together.

She's in town this week for our annual team summit here at my office in Atlanta.

So a lot of work gets covered while we're all together.

But the best part I think is some of those free flowing conversations that we have during

our breaks, especially over meals and at night this week, usually sitting out on the

porch during those rainy nights in Georgia, talking a lot about this concept of ecological

gardening.

Now if that term ecological gardening is new to you, or if you can't really get your head

around how to define it, you're not alone, I'll share with you my definition of it in

a moment.

But as far as I can tell, it's really still more of a broad brush concept, combining things

that we can do to be better environmental stewards and around our gardens and landscapes

and well beyond really.
