0:15.1	Music Andrine Anderson was someone who knew what she wanted and she wouldn't stop until she got it.
0:39.3	Her smile was just as brilliant as she was and she carried this genuine love for people. Her cousin said,

0:56.1	Andrine grew up in Jamaica with big dreams of moving to America. Her childhood friend Mandy
1:01.9	told CBS, growing up in Jamaica, we didn't have a lot, so we figured if we wanted to get
1:07.6	somewhere in life, it would be in America. That's where the dream was.
1:12.0	Andrine was determined to make the best life for herself. At just 16, she graduated from high school,
1:19.8	and two years later, she earned an associate's degree in business studies from Excelsior Community
1:26.5	College. When she was 19, Andrine met
1:29.7	29-year-old Andre McDonald. He was also from Jamaica and at the time was a captain in the U.S. Air
1:37.5	Force. Andre had returned home in May of 2009 for a funeral, and that's where he and Andrine first crossed paths.
1:46.8	Andre had been in the Air Force since 2004. He had a master's in engineering and no history of
1:54.5	deploying to a war zone. Andrine's mother, Maureen, later told CBS that her daughter was beyond excited after meeting Andre.
2:04.5	She saw so much potential in him. I mean, he had his life together, which was especially attractive to a 19-year-old go-getter like Andrine.
2:14.4	Not long after, she moved to Florida with Andre, and in July of 2009, just a few months after meeting, they were married.
2:24.2	Soon after the wedding, Andre was sent to joint-based San Antonio Lachland, so the couple moved there.
2:31.1	Once in San Antonio, Andrine enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio
2:37.0	so she could study finance. She excelled in her classes and was even named one of the top 100
