Do you ever feel anxious?

Do you ever feel anxious? I know there's plenty to worry about between wars and

extreme weather and the economy not to mention the more personal concerns of health struggles or

strained relationships. But I also know what God says about worry, and if you want to

worry less, I think today's message is just what you need.

I'd like for us to make a list. I'd like for us to compile a list of observations under this heading, the advantages of anxiety.

That sounds like fun, doesn't it?

I bet we could do it too because we all have had at least limited experience in worry,

correct?

And for crying out loud, we surely have ample reason to worry.

We have cause to fret, don't we?

I mean, just look at the headlines.

For example, there's a war going on on the other side of the world. There's reason to worry. And if international

concern wasn't enough, there was a story about a 40-year-old lieutenant

colonel who had a heart attack the week after he bought his farm where he hoped to spend his post

military years.
