Summary

This week our show sounds like an homage to Edward R. Murrow's reports from the London Blitz. Brian explores the pubs and sweet shops of Jolly Old and has a run in with the Royals. Jason requires caffeine but opts for a morning Miller to liven things up. Please visit http://grumpyoldgeeks.com/33 for the show notes for this episode. 2:26.8

There's probably a good two to three hundred people just sitting around at the in and out because they basically shut down the terminals, which you didn't really hear in the news.

2:34.8

And LAX's website was down and nobody was really kind of providing any information.

2:39.8

So by the time we got over there, we couldn't even get into the terminals.

2:43.8

I mean, we were still, you have to be there two and a half hours early for international flights.

2:47.8

So we were there well before our flight was supposed to be, but the terminals were shut down.

2:51.8

You could not walk into LAX.

2:53.8

Everybody was just kind of standing around and we just kind of hung out there for a while.
