I want to talk about a spiritual practice of remembrance.

The spiritual practice of remembrance, we don't really talk much about this in church.

I've been in church for longer than I can remember.

And we don't do this very often but I think it's one of the most significant things we can

do as women of God.

And I think we missed this so much.

In Psalms 106, I want you to turn there because we're going to hang out there for a little bit.

We begin to kind of look a little bit about what happens when we forget about God and the promises in our lives.

And we forget about what He did.

And you know what, it's not uncommon.

The people of Israel totally forgot about what God did for them.

Could you imagine like you trying to cross the sacrament of river and it just goes up?

Could you imagine and crossing on dry land and then forgetting again?

But you know, we go through hard things.

It's hard to remember the promises of God.

Right?

When you go through something hard in God, it's so funny.

How have you ever been like, you know, I get really, really final about things when I'm going through hard things.
