to have Greg Kockel on the show. He is one of the wisest people I have ever had the pleasure of personally knowing.

I think of him like a wise owl, not a wise old owl, just a wise owl.

Greg is the founder and president of Stan to Reason

in Organization, which actually just celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

He's written seven books, including the Story of Reality and Tactics, which are two books that I recommend all the time.

I'm sure you've heard me recommend them on this podcast.

Greg has also just released a new outstanding book, which everyone listening needs to get called

Street Smarts using questions to answer Christianity's toughest

challenges and it's that book that is going to frame the theme for our conversation

today. On the personal side Greg has been a wonderful mentor to me

over the last several years and he has supported my writing and speaking in all kinds of

ways which I am so grateful for and I can pretty uniquely say that I have been on a boat on the sea of Galilee with

Greg and his wife which sounds really random but we were all part of a trip to

Israel for apologists back in 2019 it was actually four years ago this month.

It was October and we got to share some really memorable times. So Greg it's
