Fun show today, I made just a few errors, a few timing errors.

We did get one message which I'm going to read out which really made me laugh.

So I relayed an opinion from my mechanic that all cars are made of cheese.

All cars are made of cheese are cars.

It was 2012 and he says that the parts aren't reliable enough and the electronics break

down.

So there is a level of built-in obsolescence.

Which my mechanic agrees with.

So we got this text in.

It said, I don't agree with your mechanic.

As a mechanic of 40 years experience, I can say that the cars of today much outlast the

cars of yesterday.

There was the odd exception like the Mercedes D and E-class and some of the VWs and P0504.

But most cars of yesterday were falling apart mechanically after about three years and

their bodies used to dissolve in the rain.

The bodies today are not a rot proof and the mechanics much better put together than

40 years ago.

Well, let's them down today is all the electronics in them.

That's what tends to wear out.
