You wanted to chat with you just briefly today about some technical difficulties we had with the previous episode.

Welcome, Blake.

Hey, thanks for having me, Scott.

During the last episode, we had a lot of background noise can become too loud.

And so we've corrected that issue.

What is involved typically with pulling off a podcast that comes out every day like this for a trial?

That's a really good question, Blake.

Typically what happens is this.

I drive into the courthouse.

I spend nine hours there covering the trial and doing follow-up interviews at the courthouse.

Then I come back to the room I'm staying in and I do follow-up interviews.

And then I take all those interviews, have them transcribed online.

I write a script based on those things.
