So I want to talk a little bit today about the measure used on you, the measure used on you.

As someone who has been in more than one internet skirmish, more than one controversy, more than one, as the diplomats put it, more than one frank exchange of views, some people might wonder how do you tell if you're dealing with a reasonable

person who will interact with you who's worth debating with and someone who is

either a troll on the extreme end or someone who is simply

arguing such a way that the game is not worth the candle if you know what I mean.

So when someone comes, let's say,

and I'm not trying to open up this subject,

but I'll just use it for a purpose of illustration.

If I say something positive about the Jews or critical of those who are trying to get anti-Semitism up and going in conservative

reformed circles. Let's say I tweet something that takes a shot at that and a discussion slash debate breaks out or I post a YouTube

clip that talks about that and then there's a frenzy in the comments section below that YouTube clip.

How do I make the assessments that I do about the people who are yelling and throwing things in the comments section.

Well, one of the ways you can tell,

and this is a very simple technique and I commend it to you,

when someone piles into the comments

and he wants you to trust him on the reading he's done about the Middle East or the history of anti-Semitism or the history of Israel or how Israel is founded or what dirty deeds

the Masad was up to all of that stuff. He's asking me to trust his acumen, to trust his scholarship, right?

But I don't have access to the library that he's using.

I've not read all the library that he's using.

I've not read all the books he's referring to,
