People in movies and TV shows, things that are light-hearted and comedic, who've got an edge, but like don't worry about it too much.

I have a complete opposite perspective on this.

I think that we are here to talk about funny people who are conventionally

funny and yet there is a disturbing disgusting sinister monstrous side lurking just beneath the surface.

I absolutely. I originally pitched this episode to Kristen under the title sitcom Psychos because there are there aren't many

but there are a few fairly recent examples of characters, beloved characters, on popular TV shows that are theorized

or in some cases overtly stated to be maniacs and literal killers.

I have someone to talk to you about later who's like a beloved character who most people

may have not ever stuck around long enough to learn or have chosen to

erase from their memory that this beloved character is overtly confirmed to have murdered another beloved character.

Yes, it's very, very troubling.

And I have a character who is a real hoot, you think of them and you go oh I love that show but then if you think about it for a few minutes more you're like oh yeah they are quite dark it's really dark it's really dark yeah I've got the equivalent of if I were going to say like did you
