Summary

This week on Serialously with Annie Elise, Mike Miske was a wealthy and well-connected Hawaii businessman, but beneath the surface, he ran what authorities describe as a violent criminal empire. After his teenage son died in a tragic car accident, Miske became consumed with rage. Not at the crash itself, but at the friend who had survived. That young man, once like family, became the target of a meticulously orchestrated disappearance…

The attorney for Misky says he's a legitimate businessman and will prove so in court.

0:26.3

They need to be held accountable and I hope this means that no one will ever get hurt again by these people.

2:00.3

talking with you about today

2:01.3

is that was actually recommended by one of you listeners. And this listener wants to stay anonymous

2:07.8

for obvious reasons because there's like mobsters, hits, murder involved. I mean, it's very

2:14.3

scary. But they tipped us off because they are involved with an extension of the family.

2:21.0

I'm just going to leave it with that. I'm not going to say which family. I'm not going to say what the

2:23.7

extension is, but you get where I'm going. And this case actually takes us to Hawaii, which is pretty

2:30.6

interesting because normally you think of Hawaii as like a vacation destination, right?

2:34.5

You don't think of it as a place that has organized crime or these big, heavy mobsters, but it does.

2:41.0
