The Now, here's this week's connecting clip of the week. This is a cookbook by a chef George Perrier.

George was the chef of a remarkable restaurant in Philadelphia called Lebeck Finn.

It was one of the top French restaurants in the world.

People came from all over the world to go to this restaurant.

And it was a tasting menu and quite expensive.

But one evening, someone invited Llewalla and me to go to this restaurant, we could have never

afford that ourselves. And they, unbeknownst to me, told chef Perrier that there was a famous

author eating there, which is laughable.

And he came out and presented me with this cookbook

that he signed.

It's one of my prize possessions.

What he could do with food was just so amazing.

You would look at the plate and it looked like a painting and then you would taste it and

say, how is it possible that this is so good?

I once, that evening, one course I said to Luella, I don't ever want this out of my mouth.

But what that has made me think about is the lavish, generous goodness of God to us in food.
