And as he's filling the door, he's pushing the door open.

I can see him with a bag and I can see his hand reaching into this bag and then all of a sudden

On today's episode of Strictly stalking, we're speaking with Rachel Williams.

Rachel spent years in a relationship that slowly became controlling, then violent, and eventually impossible to escape.

When she was finally able to leave, it didn't end, he kept showing up, watching, and waiting.

Until one day at work, it escalated into violence.

Rachel survived, but what followed would change her life forever.

Why don't you tell us about who Rachel was before all this began?

As a child, I was quite, I would say a spirited kid, even at a young age in junior school, as we would call it, in Wales in the UK.

From the age probably of about 8 to 10, when I was in junior school, I seemed to be pulled by the teachers to mark exam papers with them, the headmaster

quite often, because they didn't have a secretary. When everybody had to go out, I was called in

the headmaster's office to answer the school phone, if need be. I was always quite a spirited and

quite confident child, and that progressed into the high school as well,

into the comprehensive school. I had a good circle of friends. It was quite popular. You'd find

me probably round the back of the school with the boys smoking cigarettes. Not that I'm endorsing
