Today I'm speaking with Garden Designer Rochelle Greyer.

You might follow her on her Instagram account at Pith and Vigor, or from any of her other

places that she has a strong presence, but it's been a while since we've talked about

the subject of Garden Design, and I thought this would be an excellent time to pick back

up on that subject.

As some of us are winding down our gardens and landscapes for the year, with time ahead

to reflect and plan, and maybe make a few design changes in the coming year.

Hence the conversation with Rochelle today.

In this episode, we're picking up some very practical design tips from her book Cultivating

Garden Style, with a subtitle inspired ideas and practical advice to unleash your garden

personality.

The book is indeed full of ideas and inspiration, and Rochelle has a prestigious background

and garden design to back it up, and a very interesting story on how she arrived there.

She took a hard right in her career path from building flight simulators for F-18s and

software to help satellites maneuver in space to garden designer, after attending the English

gardening school in London.

From there, she began designing gardens for private residences and hotels around the

world, and writing a weekly column for apartment therapy, and currently teaching her online

garden design bootcamp series while still finding time to work and play in her new England

garden, which she calls her science and design lab as much as her haven.
