Summary

When we reflect on things from the past that have meant something to us, it’s good for us. It’s fun! And since books are fairly universal as a thing people love, I’m sharing my 10 most memorable books. They’re not necessarily my favorites, although some are, but these are books that I remember where I read them, how they made me feel, what they were about, and I still think of them often.

So we're going to start with one of my first solo reading experiences that led me to discover

1:14.9

that reading was more fun than just about anything else I could be doing. And that is the secret

1:19.5

of the old clock by Carolyn Keane. This is the first novel in the Nancy Drew series. And when I got

1:24.6

that yellow spined book from the library in the late eighties, it was like life started. I

1:30.3

remember loving the mystery aspect and mysteries and thrillers are still one of my favorite

1:36.4

genres to this day. That book opened up reading for me and was my first real binge because I read

1:43.7

every single Nancy Drew book in order multiple times during my twin and teen years. That first

1:51.5

one though is still really special. I have a super old fabric hardcover of it, like one that's

1:57.4

not with the yellow spine. I founded it a book sale a couple of years ago. It's one of my favorite
