| 1:11.7 | You are now tuned into the show where you learned the discipline to show up day after day to do the work, the confidence to put yourself out there, boldly and authentically and the mental toughness. To continue showing up, doing the work, putting yourself out there even when the success you've expected to achieve has yet to be achieved. And on top of all this, you get a huge dose of personal initiative. What is that, Dre? That is the go-getter energy that moves any one of us, including yourself. It's going to make things happen instead of waiting for things that happen. And then we put all this together into a series of frameworks, approaches, insights, strategies and techniques all underneath the umbrella of one unifying philosophy that is called work on your game. My name is Drey Baldwin, also known as Drey All Day, and welcome to the show. |
| 1:44.9 | And today's topic is the keys to professional service entrepreneurship. Now, the reason that I'm talking about is, first of all, I am a professional service entrepreneur, but I got to thinking about this topic, not because of me, but because I see so many entrepreneurs who are in service businesses, people who have service businesses and they do so as entrepreneurs. So this could be a lawyer, it could be a doctor, |
| 1:48.9 | be a coach, a consultant, a financial advisor, et cetera. I see people in these spaces. And I see |
| 1:53.7 | them failing at easy opportunities to do business simply because they are focusing on the wrong |

I don't mean that you are doing, you are arguing the goal wrong, or that you are not a good physical therapist as far as getting someone back in shape, or that you are not giving out good financial advice, for example. Those are not what I mean when I say the wrong things. What I'm talking about is whatever does not serve the best interests and the best desires of your clientele. And if you are failing to do that, then you are putting yourself in a precarious position business-wise because you're going to lose your clients. That's what the topic is here today. So I don't need to give too much more background on this. These are the type people who I work with mostly in my business anyway. And I see a lot of people in these businesses, even if I'm not working with them. I don't even know them personally. I see them screwing up. So that's what I want to talk about here today. Point number one. Topic, once again, is the keys to professional service entrepreneurship is number one, |
| 2:53.3 | people skills. Number one, two, three, and four is people skills. What does people skills mean? |
