So this time I thought I would talk a little bit about my grandson Rory at Columbia. A number of you have probably seen something about this, but it has to do

with the student unrest there. Rory is just finishing up his undergraduate degree at Columbia and it has been something of a

tumultuous year. Right after the invasion of Israel, the massacre perpetrated by Hamas, immediately after that there was an outbreak

of protests on the Columbia campus, on the Palestinian-Sl slash Hamas side of things.

There was a good deal of demonstration and unrest

and so on, which Rory had to walk through.

He was headed to class during one of those demonstrations

and he realized that he had a t-shirt on

that said Columbia in Hebrew.

And so there you go but and he then also went and fetched a I don't know what you call him yamaka a little cap he'd he'd gone to a Passover dinner and had been been given one of those things. So he went and put it on and walked through the protest that way.

He was distressed and angry at the sort of pro-Hama's sentiment in the immediate aftermath

of what Hamas had done in their attack on Israel. Well in the in the unrest over the last month or so that began at

Columbia or was the Columbia was sort of the epicenter it spread to a number of other

a number of other college campuses, as one observer

So the unrest spread spread but the epicenter of it was at

Columbia there was a bunch of students camping out in in the quad. In these protests it is very very clearly organized because
