Summary

Statistics are showing an increase of worry and anxiety in children. This will be a little different from our usual episode but the Bible has a lot to say about this so we thought we should address it. We will differentiate between fear, worry, and and anxiety and give each emotion their own episode. Today we discuss fear: Are there good fears? ie; fear of fire, or fear of the Lord Can fear lie to us? Why does God tell us not to be afraid? 0:40.0	Today, we're kicking off a journey together, exploring some emotions we all encounter in our lives.
0:48.0	Fear, worry, and anxiety.
0:53.0	I know these might sound like big intimidating words,
0:58.0	but that's okay.
1:00.0	We are here to talk about them in a way that makes sense and helps us grow stronger together.
1:09.0	You see, feeling scared, worried, or anxious is completely normal.
1:16.0	It's like having different colors in your emotional coloring box.
1:21.0	And the Bible, our incredible guidebook for life, has a special map to help us navigate through these feelings.
1:30.0	Do you think God knew we'd have these feelings?
1:35.0	Yes. He sure does and because he loves us he helps us.
1:42.0	Before we jump into this adventure,
1:44.0	let's take a moment to understand these emotions a little better.
1:49.0	Fear is that
1:55.0	feeling we get when something seems scary or unknown.
2:02.0	Worry is like a little cloud that hangs over our thoughts, making us feel unsure about what might happen now or in the future.
2:08.0	And anxiety is when those worry thoughts get stuck.
2:13.0	Like on a roller coaster that keeps going around and around in your mind
