One of my favorite things about hunting sharp-tailed grouse is hunting the topography. And one of the best ways I have found to do that more effectively and efficiently is with Onyx Hunt's 3D map view. The next time you're scouting from your living room, the roadside, or when you're in the field hunting it, fire up the Onyx Hunt app and turn on the 3D map view to get an up close and in detail look at the topography of any piece of property.

You'd be shocked at the stuff that I pulled out of guns, you know, pine needles and ferns and feathers and, you know, all sorts of stuff. We should be working on our shooting and our shotguns. We're going to talk guns today. At what point would somebody consider, I should send this in for a full strip and clean? What does that entail? And what should I be looking for to say, yeah, I might need this? If all of a sudden you feel like the front trigger got significantly lighter or significantly

2:01.8

heavier, little changes like that, we all kind of learn how our guns feel when we're using them. You know, if you start opening and closing it and it's functioning, if the gun's clean, but yet there's some type of hitching the giddy up or a gritty feeling or something like that, that's something you'd want to have checked out right away. You know, and again, if there's traumatic event, like you drop the gun or something falls on it, that's when you'd want to have the wood inspected to make sure there isn't some damage internally there. Do you do more harm than good by, you hear people say, you know, put a drop of oil on your stock and rub it in and gradually condition it over time? I mean, is that something we should be thinking about,

2:34.5

can we do it successfully and not ruin the stock? I mean, how should we think about that?

2:39.1

This is a secret between you and me, Nick, the oils that we use on the stocks.
