Yeah, never can't argue with jumping straight into the text.

And God said let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.

So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so.

God called the vault sky and there was evening and there was morning the second day.

All right. Well, this is a particularly interesting day. And I'm actually going to have to be very, very careful with this episode because this is probably

quite possibly my most treasured teaching of all Torah has to do with the second day of creation, which if you know anything about what the rambon with an end, the rambons says about this, you would maybe start to get a sense of why it's so important to me, but

without going too deep into it, which is hold on hold on hold on.

You've referenced this before, but unless they're unless you're holding out on us for a strategic reason, are you going to tell us what the rambom said because it's glorious.

Okay, yes. So, um,

rambons had a lot of stuff, but one of the things the thing he said that got my, my ears twitching was he said that for the people who know what's going on with day two, you're not allowed to teach it to anyone.

And if you don't know what's going on a day two, don't ask about it, which is like, how can you not, how can you not get curious after hearing something like that, which I've always wondered is exactly his point.

It feels like it just feels like a very rambunct thing to do, but nevertheless.

Yeah, and you put on top of that, it's the only of the the six main days of creation that is not called good.

We didn't hear the God's side was good.

It's also weird in some other ways.

You know, we've noted before that the first three days of creation all involved the theme of separating.

Yes.

But something different is happening in the separation here than anywhere else.
